William Rung, PsyD
Clinical Psychologist
I have a doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Long Island University (LIU) Post's Clinical Psychology doctoral program.
A member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCF) since 2014, I am up to date on the cutting edge of research and treatment of OCD. As both a current clinician and past co-director at the Pride Healing Center, a mental health clinic focused on serving members of the LGBTQ+ community, I remain up-to-date on the literature surrounding affirmative care. My treatment philosophy focuses on tailoring individual treatments to each client while integrating cognitive-behavioral and relational techniques to address areas of concern. When working with my clients, I bring expertise, as well as patience, and compassion. I have worked extensively with both adolescents and young adults, and my experience includes treating a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, personality and mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), LGBTQ+ concerns and issues, dissociation, and identity concerns. |
